Our History
Victor Rammelsberg established the firm in 1967 in Shelbyville, Indiana. Jeff Rumsey joined him in 1992 upon moving to the West Broadway location. Jeff then purchased the business in 1996, and it became Rammelsberg & Rumsey, P.C.
The Morristown office was purchased in July, 1998 from E. Anne Ellis, CPA as she retired. The Morristown office was housed in the Train Depot.
January 2005, the Shelbyville and Morristown offices merged and relocated to the second floor of the new Indiana Wesleyan University building.
January 2009, the firm was acquired by Shore & Company, P.C. of New Castle, IN, allowing us to provide an expanded menu of services such as Investment Advisory Servcies, Financial Planning, and Estate Planning. Shore & Company's sister company, Shoreline Asset Management, LLC, provides our Investment and Financial Planning servcies. www.shoreco.com and www.shoreline-llc.com.
